Blurry vision is a common complaint when we see patients, however, sometimes this isn’t caused by a change in prescription. Recently we have been seeing a surge in cases of dry eyes in our patients. When the eye is dry and the tear film, which wets our eyes when we blink, is insufficient, our eyes struggle to focus light leading to a feeling of blurry vision. Fortunately, we are now able to diagnose dry eyes more accurately and prescribe a personalized protocol to improve your symptoms. These treatments can be specific drops, warm compresses, blinking exercises or a combination of these.
If you feel as though you may have dry eyes, make an appointment with our optometrists and we can direct you to the best course of action.
