The Alin is a frame inspired by Alin and Liautard, who were coachwork manufacturers in the 1920’s. Involved in designing the bodywork of those glorious cars of the 1920’s.
Jerome Marie Mage draws inspiration from historical figures, paying homage to significant persons in industry, entertainment, artists etc The Alin is out of that playbook drawing inspiration from the individual designs Alin and Liautard made for cars in 1920’s. JMM description tells it all:
“Classic ‘50s-inspired combo spectacles with prominent acetate brow, square titanium lens shape, our signature arrowhead monoblock hinge, and finely engraved temples with a unique arrowhead motif”.
Like all of their frames the Alin is a beautiful work of craftsmanship. We have this frame available in our Mosman and Wynyard store
