What is Astigmatism?

What is astigmatism

Astigmatism is a condition that causes your vision to be blurry for both far away and up close. Most people with astigmatism will notice the vision being worse at night and lights become streaky and starry. This is due to the front of the eye being a different shape, instead of it being like a soccer ball, it more resembles a rugby ball. Astigmatism occurs usually in combination with short sightedness or longsightedness. This issue can be fixed by wearing glasses, contacts or sometimes refractive surgery.
