What is presbyopia?

Have you noticed people over a certain age need to wear reading glasses? Why is that? When we read the lens in our eye flexes. This is due to the lens getting thicker and less able to change shape, causing a gradual loss of focussing ability. Glasses or contact lenses can be used to fix this issue.
